To enable the most accurate representation possible, adjustments can be made for the profitability analysis in the Available LCC settings area on the right-hand side of the dialog.
If the Available LCC settings area is not visible in the Operating costs dialog, it can be made visible and fixed using the button |
The following parameters can be defined for a profitability calculation:
The LCC profiles stored in the database are selected in this field.
This value is used to determine the average value of the forecast increase in the electricity price over the period under review. A 6% increase is estimated here as the standard value.
![]() | Annual operating time |
The average annual operating time of the pump is defined in this field. The default setting here is 5600 hours.
The Open button in this field opens a dialog window in which you can either select from predefined profiles or create your own profile. It is possible to add one or more operating modes (e.g. low, partial, full load operation, night setback) to the profiles or to remove them from the list of existing ones.
With this option, you specify whether a night-time reduction, i.e. an automatic power reduction, for example in heating systems, is to be taken into account in the calculation.
![]() | Correct operating time in case of flow deviation: |
Use this option to determine whether the operating time is to be adjusted to a deviation in the specified flow rate for the calculation.
Enter the current electricity price here. In conjunction with the rate of increase already specified above, a corresponding calculation of future electricity prices can be made.
Here you specify the period under review, i.e. the expected term of the investment.
![]() | Factor for maintenance in % of the investment amount: |
In this field, enter the percentage of the purchase price to be used as the necessary maintenance costs.
![]() | Inflation rate (annual inflation rate): |
Here you specify the inflation rate. This allows the calculation of costs to be adjusted for inflation, giving you a real estimate of the costs.
![]() | Interest rate (for capital investments): |
In this field, you specify the average interest rate. This influences the calculation of the depreciation period.
