Manage contact data

The Contact data button Kontaktdatenopens the Selection - Companies dialog. In this dialog, new data can be added or existing data can be changed or deleted. It is also possible to adjust only the active contact in the respective project.

As soon as this dialog is closed with the OK button, the entry for Customer/Supplier is adjusted in the project.

 

In the upper Search area, you can search the existing data records using text fragments. To do this, enter the relevant phrase in the Search for combo box. If this field remains empty, all existing data records are displayed in the corresponding list.

With Plusthe Search in combo box, you can choose between the Company and Contact person categories from the menu and thus specify whether you want to search for the contact person in the company data or in the contact data. All fields in the category to be searched are included in the search.

 

The search process Screenshot 2025-07-03 111318 is started with the button. The list in the Company section contains the companies in the database that match the search pattern. If the search mask is empty, all companies are displayed.

The structure shown is hierarchical. Companies are the upper level, contact persons or contacts the lower level. There are additional buttons in the header of the respective area.

This Plus can be used to add new entities. It is also possible to permanently delete an entity that is no longer required using the button Minus. Depending on whether a company or a person is selected in the list, different views are available in the Details area on the right.

For changes, the new data is entered directly into these tables.

The OK button is used to save and apply added or changed data.

All changes are discarded with the Cancel button, as well as when closing via the button Schließenin the title bar.

 

Hinweis

For intensive data maintenance of many customer master data, it is advisable to close the dialog regularly with OK in order to save the entered data.

 

Access permissions

 

In the Access rights tab, it is also possible to determine who can select the company or contact for projects and who is authorized to edit the data record.

If new persons are added to a company, a separate dialog box opens with the table for the personal data.
